NEWFOUNDLAND Later Issues 1933 Sir Humphrey Gilbert Issue 15c. original watercolour drawing by Olga Lehmann of the vignette in a design similar to that issued, on thin card (103x120mm.), a series of nine progressive die proofs in claret, the first with frame and an outline of the vignette, the background handpainted in watercolour, the last as issued, all but the last stamp-size with most dated in pencil at foot, a die proof in black on wove watermarked paper (60x70mm.) with large part reversed die number "110(4)" at upper right corner, and a plate proof block of four in claret.
