NEWFOUNDLAND Later Issues 1933 Sir Humphrey Gilbert Issue 8c. original watercolour drawing by Olga Lehmann of the vignette in a design similar to that issued, on thin card (150x91mm.), a series of eight stamp-size progressive die proofs on wove paper in shades of claret or orange with most dated at foot, and a further die proof in vermilion on wove watermarked paper (73x53mm.) with reversed die number "1106" in upper left corner.
