Mauritius 1848-1980s mint and used collection; the mint include 1859-61 6d. dull purple, 1860-63 no wmk 9d., 1863-72 CC 1d., 2d., 6d. dull violet (light stain), 6d. yellow-green, 9d. and 1/- blue pair, 1891 2c. on 38c. with surcharge double (B.P.A. certificate), 1899 6c. on 18c. with surcharge inverted, 1902 (July) 2r.50 and 1938 25c. with "ij" flaw; the used include a very mixed group of Post Paids, Sherwins and Dardennes, 1858-62 4d. green, 6d. vermilion and 1/- dull magenta (2, one re-issued as 1d.), 1859-61 imperf 6d. (both) and 1/- (both), 1860-63 no wmk. values to 1/- (both), 1862 intermediate perf 6d. and 1/-, 1863-72 CC values to 5/- (2), 1878 4c. on 1d. to 2r.50 on 5/-, 1879-80 2c. to 2r.50 and 1950 1c. to 10r.; also some postal stationery and seven stamps used in Rodrigues.
