A confusing Seaby ticket is supplied with this coin, as it states this coin is a proof or pattern and was bought at Seaby in 1946 for £22.10/-. The ticket refers to a coin sold in the SCMB in September 1946 item number G899, however the coin offered in the SCMB has a plain edge. Either the coin was exchanged for this currency piece at a later date, or the wrong ticket was supplied by Seaby with this coin in 1946.
