Colonial Police Force Long Service, E.II.R. (Prin. Off. 1. S.W. Jones, Fed. Malaya), extremely fine, in Royal Mint case of issue, with original official letters

Samuel Walter Jones was employed by the Crown Agents as a Prison Officer in Malaya before the Second War. Inturned by the Japanese in the infamous 'Changi' Prison Camp for three and a half years, he survived and returned to his pre-war police service. Jones retired in 1951.
