Private A.E. Westbrook, Royal Marine Light Infantry, born 22.01.1878, Manchester; enlisted 18.04.1897, Eastleigh; Legation Guard, Pekin (wound to left forearm 13.7.1900). Private Westbrook is mentioned in the despatches of Captain E. Wray, who succeeded to the command of the R.M.L.I. Detachment (see Christie's March 1986 Lot 122).
