In white silk embroidery on black background, inscribed AFC within a pale blue silk wreath; a triangular grey cloth formation-sign with black on red vertical stripe; and a diamond-shaped squadron arm-badge in red and white silk with black braid horizontal stripe (3)

The pale blue wreath was introduced in late 1918 and worn until the disbandment of the AFC the following year.
