M.M. London Gazette 12.6.1918Lance Corporal Stanley A. Squirrell, M.M. was killed in action 29.4.1918 aged 27 years and is buried at Etaples Military Cemetary, France.
Private Frank Edward Squirrell, serving with the 2nd Battalion Wiltshire Regiment, entered the French Theatre of War 25.7.1915 and was killed in action on the Somme 18.10.1916 aged 24 years when 364 of the 2/Wiltshires became casualties. He is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France, as having no known grave.
Private Albert G. Squirrell, entered the Balkan Theatre of War 10.8.1915.
