Lieutenant Lancaster Byron James Davies served with the 3rd European Regiment throughout the Mutiny in 1857-58. He was present at the action near Agra 5.7.1857; at the battle of Agra 10.10.1857; the attion of Futtehpore Sikree 28.10.1857, and he accompaniedColonel Cotton's Column towards Muttra and Delhi in October and November the same year.
