George III,Proof Penny, 1806, early Soho, struck in copper, small laureate and draped bust facing right, flaw on drapery, date below, wreath of 11 leaves, riband with 2 loops and 2 loose ends, 10 jewelled brooch, K. on shoulder, beaded border both sides, georgius iii. d: g. rexrev. inverted die axis, Britannia seated to left on rock amidst waves, olive branch of 11 leaves and 3 berries in right hand, left hand clasps trident with shield, two horizontal lines below hand but more widely spaced and fainter, K to left of shield, soho raised on rock to right, ship sailing to left, striated flag at stern, britanniarum above, edge,grained (Peck ---- cf.KP32 VS), very similar to type KP32, but with a different reverse, with the horizontal lines by hand distinctly different, copper coloured tone, a few faint reverse hairlines, mint state and extremely rare Estimate £ 200-300
