Victoria, Pattern Penny, 1860, second restrike in gilt copper, by Joseph Moore, laureate head facing left, light rust spots partly polished away on neck and cheek, 11 leaves and 7 berries, tied with ribbon, within beaded circle, date below, stop either side, victoria queen above, beaded border both sides, rev.struck en medaille, Britannia in flowing robes seated facing half-right, looking right, trident in right hand, shield and olive spray in left hand, anchor fluke and boat prow to left, j.m.incuse on ground, within beaded circle of large beads, legend incuse on broad rim, date below, stop either side, one penny above, edge,plain, (Peck ----; Fr. ----, dies 3/C), unrecorded by Peck and Freeman, series of light digs intermingling with residual rust marks on head, light reverse rim bruise, otherwise as struck and of the highest rarity Estimate £ 400-500
