                        Victoria, Pattern Penny, 1860, struck in copper, by Joseph Moore, laureate head facing left, 11 leaves and 7 berries, tied with ribbon, within beaded circle, date below, stop either side,  victoria queen above, beaded border both sides,  rev.struck en medaille, Britannia in flowing robes seated facing half-right, looking right, trident in right hand, shield and olive spray in left hand, anchor fluke and boat prow to left,  j.m.incuse on ground, within beaded circle, 1 d below, stop either side,  great britain and ireland, rim raised,  edge, plain (Peck 2102; Fr. 828 R16, dies 1/A),  two tiny black spots on obverse rim, tiny scratch on right reverse field, otherwise as struck and very rare   Estimate £   200-300  D Magnay, Dix, Noonan & Webb, 3 February 1999, lot 263
