Price, Garrett. Beautiful Original Watercolor Signed "Garrett Price" in lower right corner. A delightful 12.15 x 10" illustration in watercolor, ink, pen and crayon, apparently intended for the Saturday Evening Post, ca. 1960s, for that magazine´s title is put lightly in pencil across the top of the image. In the scene, an older gentleman brings a calm landscape to a neighborhood art show dominated by wild and "modern" works. This would have made a great New Yorker cover, for which Price is best known. This work of original art by a revered illustrator is estimated at the price of a print! Estimate US$ 150-200
