Choice Map "Brazil," published by Blackie & Son of Glasgow, ca. 1860. Plate 61 from an atlas, overall size 15" x 22". Fold wear at edges, chipped at three corners, otherwise VG. Possibly from a later edition, though it shows parts of New Granada, which became the Granadine Convention in 1858 [and, in 1863, the United States of Colombia]; curiously, it also shows parts of La Plata and Banda Oriental del Uruguay instead of the nations Argentina and Uruguay, which had long been established.
