Cartoon Art: Sad Sack Full-page OD, unsigned, of the popular character Sad Sack. A 14.5" x 11.5" single-page story "On Guard," 1956, created for the Sad Sack comic book. The artist is unidentified. Although created by George Baker during World War II, in the 1950s, the comic book version was done by others, namely Paul McCarthy, Fred Rhoades, and Jack O´Brien, among a few others. One nick in a bottom panel, pin holes at top corners, minor staining in margins, otherwise very good. Estimate US$ 50-75
