Berryman, Clifford K. Adorable ODS "C.K. Berryman / Washington DC, August 28, 1946" and inscribed to his friend, socialite Ethel Wyman. A 12.75" x 9.25" ink drawing of a teddy bear dressed as a chef and working from the St. Margaret´s Cook Book, which Wyman compiled and sold to benefit charity. In the background, a duck seems to be sneaking away! Berryman had invented the Teddy Bear back in 1902 in a political cartoon about Theodore Roosevelt on a hunt. Lightly age-toned, soiled at edges, otherwise in very good condition. VG. Estimate US$ 200-300
