World War II: Military Government Weekly Bulletins Fantastic collection of 23 issues of the "Military Government Weekly Information Bulletin" published by the US Forces - European Theater and later by the Office of Military Government for Germany, US. Includes issues 4-6, 14, 16-19, 58-62, 64, 66-68, 71, 74-77, and 94, beginning in August 1945 and ending in May 1947. The issues give a fascinating look at the changes in policy and shifting content of memoranda as time passed and the tasks at hand changed from preventing a Nazi resurgence to establishing a new Germany. Accordingly, up to issue 19, the periodical has the look of a military bulletin and afterward looks more like a magazine, with illustrated covers showing German life returning to normal. With date handstamps and pencil notes on covers, apparently ex-library. All are in very good condition. Estimate US$ 100-150
