World War II: Pierre Bourdelle Limited edition Portfolio of 52 prints describing World War II in stark creative detail. Bourdelle (1901-1966) was the son of French sculptor Antoine Bourdelle, with whom Rodin studied; later Pierre studied with Rodin. Serving in the army during the war, Bourdelle had a chance to see the battles at close range; he was wounded and lost his hearing. This set is Folio No. 123, and is Signed by the artist, printed by Albert Carman. The prints are in VG/F condition, the binder shows signs of wear. Estimate US$ 200-300
