Vietnam War: Nguyen Van Thieu Vietnamese politician and general (1923-2001); served as president of South Vietnam from 1965-75, resigning and fleeing the country little more than a week before Saigon fell to the Viet Cong. A 9.3" x 7" SP "Thieu" in blank lower margin. A distinguished head and shoulders image of the young-looking president, with blindstamp identification in margin. Tipped to a 10" x 8" card mount. Creases in photograph but not mount, otherwise very good. Estimate US$ 30-40
