Reportedly a premium given to subscribers to the Yiddish literary magazine Di Tsukunft [The Future]. Looseness of wraps at spine, interior tear in clot at front hinge, front endpapers partly separated, otherwise in very good condition. Oddly, the cover illustration of a caduceus in front of a globe faces upside-down. Peretz has been called the "father of Yiddish literature." Estimate US$ 50-75
