Large 12.6" x 17" panel image of the battlefield of Gettysburg, Looking across the Valley of Death to Wheat Field and Peach Orchard, showing Rose´s and Sherfy´s houses, &c, as explained by the photographer, W. H. Tipton, Gettysburg, on the back. The image shows signs of age, spots, lights stains in the sky area, but very powerful. A position marker for the 91st Regiment during July 2-4, 1863 is shown in the foreground, with other markers visible in the distance. Corners rounded, top edge uneven but ready for an expert clipping, overall G/VG. Estimate US$ 75-100
