Rare item "Hibernia Freed, a tragedy as it is acted at the Theatre-Royal in Lincoln´s-Inn-Fields." Will Philips. London, John Bowyer, 1722. 12mo, later [early 20th c?] 1/2 leather in textured violet cloth with marbled endpapers. Bookseller´s label on front pastedown. Boards rubbed, with cracked hinge and 1/2" of leather chipped from top of spine. However, binding is very solid and pages are in fine condition. A beautiful copy. We have not found another, nor does American Book Prices Current show one having sold in at least 25 years! Estimate US$ 100-150
