"The Prince of Abissinia." [Samuel Johnson]. London, R. and J. Dodsley, 1759. Stated second edition. 12mo, two volumes in one, full calf with gilt spine, marbled pastedowns. Owner´s 1760 ink identification on free endpaper, later owner´s bookplate on front pastedown. Front board loose but attached, cracking at hinges, with heavy rubbing at cover edges with some loss at spine ends. Interior tight and about fine, overall very good for its age. A scarce item!
