Tiffany & Co (c.1910-1925), a Vesta/Match Case, 14ct Gold, rectangular shape with rounded corners, with a small cabochon sapphire thumb-piece and a single groove around the exterior, bottom strike, marked 'MADE FOR TIFFANY & CO.' on inner rim, stamped '14K' '190' 'HANDMADE' on the interior, 6.30cm long, 4.10cm wide, 35.02g including the inner steel, in good condition, some small scuffs to the surface and signs of use, the hinge works well, sleek and tactile, an elegant example of early twentieth-century craftsmanship, and understated sophistication of pre-war American luxury goods.
