The Singha Darbar was the Prime Minister’s official residence and the location of the main government offices. Mohan Shamsher Jang Bhahadur was the last Prime Minister of the Rana Dynasty of Nepal who had to hand over the power to king Tribhuvan Vir Vikram Shah who had returned from his exile in India.
