Third Nepal-Tibet War (1855-1856), in the name of Jang Bahadur, silver Campaign Medal, VS 1912 (1855), Obv. sword with garland in centre, surrounded by a legend which starts at 12 o' clock: 1912 salma Gorkha Sarkar bata Bhot phatte ("In the year 1912 VS (1855) the Government of Gorkha defeated Tibet"), ornamental border between two outer circles, Rev. inscription, Śrī 3 Maharaja Jang Bahadur Varda bahadur paltan, 21.40g (Gabrisch/ Rhodes, no. 11) evidence of previous suspension loop and some bagmarks, toned, good very fine; another imitation in AE, dated VS 1912 (1855), 16.64g, scratched and with verdigris, fine (2)
