Nepal, Pratap Simha Shah (1775-1777), Mohar, SE 1696 (1775), Obv. small central square with trident, surrounded by legend, all this within square which has openings on the four sides and two double arches attached to each side, legend Śrī Śrī Śrī Pra/tāpa/Simha/Sāha Deva, date 1696 below within two double arches, moon in upper left double arch and sun in upper right double arch, cakra (discus) and lotus flower within double arches on left side, conch and mace within double arches on right side, Rev. central circle with eight petals attached to it, sword with garland between two horizontal lines in centre of circle, legend Śrī Śrī Guhyeśvarī, legend in petals Śrī Śrī Śrī Gorakhanātha, (RGV 638, type 2), about very fine; Mohar, SE 1699, much as before (RGV 643, type 2), light wave through flan, extremely fine and a scarce date; and, Mohar (5), SE 1697, struck for export to Tibet, Obv. much as before, Rev. central circle with eight petals attached to it, sword with garland between two horizontal lines in centre of circle, legend Śrī Śrī Guhyeśvarī, legend in petals Śrī Śrī Śrī Gorakhanātha, (RGV 640, type 3; KM 472.1), fine to very fine; Mohar (5), SE 1698, struck for export to Tibet, as before (RGV 642, type 3; KM 472.1), fine to very fine; Mohar (4), SE 1699, struck for export to Tibet, as before (RGV 644), generally fine (16)

The silver mohars of Pratap Simha are known in 3 different types: The obv. of type 1 has a small device which resembles a figure “2” in the outer angle in south position. Type 2 has a drop shaped device at the same place. Type 3 was specially struck for export to Tibet and has separate petals attached to the central circle on rev. Type 1 and 2 have joined petals on rev. and are struck of fine silver, while type 3 is struck from alloyed silver.
