These Dams are tentatively attributed to Vira Narasimha Malla, although there exist other kings whose name starts with the title “Vira”. However, the Dams struck by kings who ruled earlier and later than Vira Narasimha Malla and Vira Mahindra Malla and used the title “Vira” can be clearly identified
