Two distinct archives:

Mafeking - The Trevor Archive - A fascinating series of documents from Major Trevor, a Rhodesian with Colonel Plumer's Force, comprising a two page report on water supplies written and signed by Colonel Plumer; seven field reports written on memorandum sheets appertaining to Colonel Plumer's Forces covering two different sorties or scouting expeditions, with transcripts; and a letter from Pietersburg regarding having received a wire from Pretoria stating that the "Chartered Company's forces had crossed the border at Mafeking and cut the telegraph wires", and another wire from Joubert "The enemy are within our borders Commandier all Burghers keep watch on the Tuli Road and guard Northern boundaries".

The Wyndham Archive - A collection of various items accumulated by the journalist/correspondent C. Wyndham of the Daily Mail and Cape Times including a real photograph of him and nine others, printed rail Passes (5 including one to travel First Class on Imperial Military Railways), Army Telegraph (faults) to General Rundel's forces in Winburg, letter from Postmaster General allowing Wyndham to forward, without payment, cablegrams to the Daily Mail and Evening News, and various Telegraphs (14, five on captured Boer forms).
