c1919 Signed presentation photograph of Field Marshal His Highness Chandra Shumsher Jung Bahadur Rana, Prime minister of Nepal from 1901-1929. Housed in an elaborately carved, wooden decorative frame with the Arms of Nepal at the top, signed boldly in ink "Yours sincerely,
Chambra Shumsher". He is photographed wearing the collar chain and badge (in diamonds) of the Order of the Bath, the Order of St Michael and St George, the Star of India and the Royal Victoria Order. An impressive image emphasising the strength of diplomatic relations between the United Kingdom and Nepal (photograph 340x210mm, frame 650x460mm at its widest)
