1724 Elaborately copper engraved Bill of Health in Latin with manuscript additions issued by "the Castellano and President of the Great Court of Castellana" advising that the named individual departing "from this renowned Island of Malta ... suffers no disease of plague or pestlience nor is there any suspicion of this disease on the Island...undersigned by the hand of the Magnificus Notary of the above mentioned Great Court". Sealed with a wafer seal, closed paper hole covering the eye of the lion on the left, central fold, not detracting from the overall appearance of a very handsome document (39x30cm)
