1825 Commander-In-Chief's Order, issued at Prome and giving full details of the Burmese king's unco-operativeness, the breakdown of a treaty and of the campaign the English were carrying out against the Burmese king's soldiers, details of how the people should behave, and that the English will help them; written in Burmese, signed by three officers in English and with red wax seal at foot. A remarkable and important document from the First Anglo-Burmese War.
