1897 Pair of photographs of Prince Alfred, Duke of Saxe Coburg and Gotha, and Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna, Duchess of Coburg, signed and dated by both. Prince Alfred (1844-1900) was the second son of Queen Victoria, and Duke of Edinburgh until 1893 when he became Duke of Saxe Coburg. His wife (1853-1920) was the daughter of Tsar Alexander II of Russia. A scarce pair of signed photographs, framed and glazed (12x15cm) (2)
