A group of four financial documents, relating to and with the signature of Sidney Godolphin, 1st Earl Godolphin.
This group includes; a receipt of £100 sent to Edmond Woodruff, tax collector, with signatures of Godolphin, Thomas Pelham, and Stephen Fox, a receipt from 1699 signed by Sidney's son, the 2nd Earl Godolphin, a receipt for the repayment of a loan to Theodore Jansen, signed by Jansen, Godolphin and James Brydges, and a blank sheet of paper, possibly once attached to a financial document, bearing the signature of Sidney Godolphin.
