1643 (21 April) document "Given at Oxford", signed at top "Charles R" granting a pension of £600 for the "gude and faithful service done to his Ma'tie by the right trustie and right wellbeloved cousin and consellor William Earle of Lanerick, his Ma'ties Secretarie of State for the Kingdome of Scotland".
