Z . HIB '. REX :•, small square stops, King enthroned, with Edwardian features, holding orb and sceptre, Tudor Rose below, rev. (m.m.) IHS '. AVTE '. TRANSIE '. PER : MEDI '. ILLOR '. IBAT, crowned shield with Lion and Griffin Royal supporters, HR in cartouche in exergue, [Spink XRF: 0.843 Fine AV], 6.23g [96.14grns], 1h, m.m. arrow/arrow (BM 2023 T695, no. 3 this coin; Bisham Abbey -, cf. 1963; Schneider I, 645 [Tower I]; North 1865; Spink 2391), tiny fissures to peripheries on a otherwise neat round flan, with typical die clashing at knees and to corresponding area of reverse, otherwise lustrous, a pleasingly bold very fine with a charming portrait and rather choice as issued; on a "mint-sharp" cookie-cutter planchet
