REX SCOTORVM + thin-waisted S, wedge-tailed R, long cross and pierced mullets of 24 points in angles, 1.364g [21.05grns], 2h, m.m. plain cross (Site Reference [B3]; Spink 5055/5056); additionally, Class Mc2/D, Berwick-upon-Tweed [?], ALEXANDER DEI GRA, unbarred As, wedge-tailed R, straight-sided uprights, crowned bust left, sceptre before, rev. REX SCOTORVM + egg-waisted S, peaked-waist C with fishtail serifs, long cross and pierced mullets of 24 points in angles, 1.344g [20.74grns], 2h, m.m. plain cross / cross potent (Site Reference [B4]; Spink 5055/5057), the first with minor striking splits, the second subtly crimped, otherwise generally pleasing, both struck bolder than fine (2)
