1789-1863, a selection of Welsh Ship Letters (8) including 1789 entire letter from Grenada to Glasgow bearing "beaumaris/ship lre" (S.1); 1846 entire to Paris bearing boxed "holyhead/ship letter" (S.2) in black; 1817 and 1828 entire letters from Charleston, South Carolina to Glasgow, and from Bombay to Edinburgh, both bearing boxed "milford/ship letter" (S.3) in red; 1835 ,1838, 1844 and 1851 entires bearing boxed "swansea/ship letter" Types S.3 (2 in black), and 4 (one in black, another in blue); and 1863 (15 Aug.) entire letter from Gibraltar to New York bearing 1862-64 1/- pair and 4d., the reverse struck with boxed "holyhead/ship letter". Mostly fine and a good group of Welsh Ship Letters.
