1842-49 1d. pink envelopes (9) including distinctive Maltese crosses with superb Thurso distinctive Cross, the others with Edinburgh Cross (one with an attractive green wafer (Phonography) seal on the reverse); also 1843 without Maltese Cross but with "Bamborough/Penny Post" alongside, 1844, much redirected from London to York and then to Yorkshire, 184? from London to Kelso uprated by 1d., 1844 to London with red Bangor script "Pd 1d." ,1849 1d. pink envelope to Suffolk with fine blue "760" barred oval cancellation of Sudbury and 1850 1d. pink envelope to Eyrecourt with fine blue Irish "32" numeral of Ballinasloe. Good to very fine and an attractive group.
