£1 dull blue-green vertical strip of five tied by 15.01.04 hooded London Registered d.s. to the reverse of diplomatic mail bag label headed "on His Britannic Majesty's Serivce.", "His Britannic Majesty's Charge d'Affaires, "Foreign Office" and addressed to Bangkok, Siam. The face struck with London registered d.s., oval 'r' and Bangkok receiving d.s. with manuscript endorsement '60'. Adhesives with the usual small imperfections one might expect to find on a multiple of this size, otherwise of fresh colour and a most unusual usage to Thailand. S.G. 266, £3,500++
