1858-85, a group of covers (c.50+) to overseas destinations including U.S.A. (25) with 1858 entire letter from Glasgow to New York, re-addressed to Richmond bearing 1857 6d. pair, 1863 entire letter from London to Richmond bearing 1862-64 1/- with boxed "missent &/forwarded" and U.S. tax marking with two further 1/- single frankings to U.S.A., 1873 entire letter from London to San Francisco bearing 3d. Plate 11 with wing margin, 1875 (5) entire letters sent unstamped to Richmond, all with tax markings, 1887-92 Jubilee 4½d. on envelope registered to Springfield, and used abroad 1883 or 84 2½d. used in Beirut to Washington, front from Colombia to South Glastonbury bearing 1865-67 4d. cancelled by 'C59', and 1858 entire from Richmond to Liverpool, re-directed to London with 1d. applied on arrival and redirection; 1851 envelope to Canada West bearing 1851 2d. and embossed 1/-; 1857 envelope to Melbourne bearing 1857 1/- tied by boxed "argyle/street", very fine; to Italy (19) with 1866 entire letter from London to Milano bearing 1864-79 1d. and 1865-67 6d., very fine, a large range of covers to Genoa bearing single 1867-80 6d. frankings, also 1871 entire from Malta to Napoli bearing 1865-67 4d.; 1842 entire from Brighton to Paris bearing 1841-53 1d. red; 1874 front from London to Batavia bearing 1873-80 3d. and 1/-; 1875 entire from St. Thomas, Virgin Islands to Peurto Plata bearing 1865-67 4d. Also four covers from America, six from Austria and one from France to various destinations.
