1857 envelope to Norfolk Street bearing ¼d. rose-carmine tied by a good strike of the company handstamp showing "limited" in the shield, struck in red; there are a few filing pin holes at right, one through the adhesive and two light vertical folds, one through the adhesive. The is also a small punch hole at left where this cover was used as evidence in the trial. A rare cover. Photo
