1867-KGVI, an impressive collection of lettersheets (c.51) with Army - The Hon. Artillery Company: 1893-1901 ½d. vermilion (133x107mm) (2) both used in London in 1900, (EO18), 1889-98 ½d. brown newspaper wrapper with "H.A.C." used (WO2), 1898 ½d. vermilion "Recruiting" on blue paper (3) unused (LO73); Board of Agriculture - Swine Fever: a good group with 1894 1d. pink unused and used plus 2d. lake with florets unused and used (3); EO20, 22; Board of Trade - Agricultural and Livestock Return: 1867 1d.+ 1d. pink used in 1868 (18 June) from Darwen to Pleasington; light creasing and soiling. Very scarce. LO5. Also Announcements envelope of the Board of Trade Journal with QV 1d. pink and KEVII 1d. carmine unused; Inspector of Factories: A collection of unused letter sheets with 1901 ½d. brown on pink (2), brown on buff (2), green on buff (2); 1902 K.E.VII ½d. green headed "fruit preserving special exception"; Privy Council - Ecclesiastical Returns: a group with 1867 1d. (second section removed) from Bath to Exeter with "Not to exceed one Postage of Weight." (creases and faults); 1881 1d.+ 1d. from Oxford to Bracknell and 1894 from Gloucester to Cirencester, both complete but not returned (LO27); also 1888 Bank of England 1d. lettersheet from London to Oxford with Bank of England seal on flap; and a large range with K.G.V Inland revenue ½d. green used (2) used to Spain (CO14), K.G.V Notification of Births Acts ½d. card singles (2) and a complete booklet of twelve plus K.G.VI 1d. and K.G.VI 2d. Director of Education card; also Q.V. 2d. envelope with impression of Lord Chancellor's Visitor used (2); also Admiralty lettersheet ½d. brown Engine Room Class used. Mixed condition though an interesting selection well worth careful inspection.
