1916-22 a group of covers and cards with 1916 mourning envelope to London bearing 1d. tied by circular Dublin parcel cancellation which was used after the destruction of the G.P.O. by the I.R.A.; 1916 picture post card to York from a member of 178 Brigade with K.G.V 2d. cancelled by neat "james's street d.o. dublin"; 1921 O.H.M.S. envelope to Carlow with K.G.V 2d. tied by Blackroxk c.d.s. and strikes of "censored/i r a" in blue; 1922 envelope to Bury with overprinted 2d. tied by County Waterford c.d.s. and showing large letters "censored/i.r.a." in black; 1922 2d. stationery envelope to Dublin with typewritten "saorstat/etreann/1922" and stampless envelope cancelled by machine postmark "irish republican post/dublin" (roughly opened at left). A very interesting group. (6 covers)
