1874 (15 Aug.) large commercial solicitor's wrapper to New York "per Cunard Stmr." bearing 1865-67 4d. deep vermilion plate 13 (2), 1867-80 2/- blue, 1867-83 5/- rose (watermark Maltese Cross), plate 1 FA, GB, HE with 1873-80 1/- green plate 9; each cancelled by strikes of the "466" obliterator; manuscript "Registered 15/8/74" in red ink with Registered Liverpool despatch c.d.s., the reverse with New York Registered c.d.s. (26.8) with three wax seals and the pink sealing ribbon still attached. There is a central vertical crease and some soiling on the reverse and the 2/- stamp with a small defect in the lower corner and one 5/- sowing some loss of colour.
