1857, a group of covers with the distinctive Manchester duplex cancelling four 1d. on wrapper to Paris code "I" and single 1d. on entire to Stockport code "M"; also the c.d.s. used as a arrival mark on the reverse of an envelope from Exeter (cancelled by the Creswell machine); also Liverpool with (12 Nov.) duplex tying pair of 2d. blue on wrapper to Bordeaux and the numeral on the flap of (17 Nov.) wrapper to Dewsbury with 1d. tied by Liverpool spoon; thought to be the first and last days of use of this postmark.
