1871 (313 Jan.) ½d. stationery card to Dorking cancelled by a fine strike of the "89" duplex with oblong datestamp code "JG" with the bars of the obliterator made up of lines of vertical bars; the card with a corner crease and a spike hole. Used between 4 January and 4 February 1871, less that ten examples recorded. It is thought that the "JG" in the datestamp refers to J.G. Azemar. Photo
