A collection of covers on leaves with many plated stamps which includes 1854 and 1855 stamps (2) with misplaced perf. cut from the sheet with scissors, twelve stamps on H.M.S. Indefatigable envelope for Montevideo, cancelled on arrival in London, plate 176, plate 195 (6) on entire to London, reserve plate 1 block of four on wrapper to France, single on envelope to Burntslane cancelled by neat Bailleston town cancel, reserve plate 2 on railway envelope, reserve plate 5 tied by Reading 'biscuit', plus others. Also perf.14 on envelope from Tadcaster to Leeds and 1855 (31 Dec.) tied by Irish "106" numeral in bright green on envelope from Cashel to Westmoreland. A good group. S.G. C1-C2. (17 covers)
