Lowick: 1847 (c.) valentine used locally in Lowick bearing plate78 (?). BE (small to large margins) cancelled by this distinctive Maltese Cross in blue, handmade and showing a dot in the centre instead of the diamond, with undated circular postmark on the flap. A stunning and delightful cover. Brandon certificate (2000) "genuine, as far as one can say". Photo
