Plate 11: NK with good to enormous margins on entire to Wick, cancelled by the hand-drawn postmark by the postmaster of Dunnet, the reverse with unframed "dunnet/s.o.", Thurso and Wick boxed datestamps; the letter with a central filing spike hole which is well clear of the adhesive.

The Dunnet postmaster's manuscript cancellations are highly prized, he is well-know for his representations of the Maltese Cross design, in this case he was being less artistic and has used a series of circular squiggles. R.P.S. Certificate (2022)
